- A Master’s level qualification from a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 5 years' post-related experience in a governmental, inter-governmental or military environment. Acceptable alternatives: Bachelor’s level qualification with 8 years' post-related experience in a governmental, inter-governmental or military environment, or an equivalent education combined with an appropriate amount of relevant, professional experience.
- Related experience in a governmental, intergovernmental or military environment.
- Good knowledge of maritime acquisition and lifecycle management best practices in Industry and NATO or national environments.
- Proven experience in maritime project management, including experience as project manager for sizeable complex acquisition projects in a national/international environment.
- Recognised Programme Management and Project Management Certification [e.g. Managing Successful Programmes, PRINCE2®, Project Management Professional (PMP®)], or International Project Management Association (IPMA®)].
- NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable.
