- University degree in engineering or related discipline.
- Combined experience in aircraft engineering and aerospace technical/maintenance systems in a sizeable civilian or military organisation.
- Knowledge of contract administration.
- Thorough knowledge in aircraft engineering at a system level, with in depth background in logistics procedures/requirements, with emphasis on system engineering & aircraft supply management.
- Work experience as an aircraft engineer in military or civilian aircraft programmes, aircraft systems and/or associated equipment, on single-engine aircraft types, preferably Uncrewed Air Vehicle (UAV).
- Good knowledge of aircraft engineering, maintenance, supply, as well as airworthiness regulation practices and procedures both from a production and in-service support perspective.
- Knowledge of and experience with Engineering Change Processes in aircraft or other major system upgrade or development activities.
- NATO's two official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirable.
