General Qualifications
- University degree in engineering, equivalent education, or relevant professional experience as a mechanical, electronic or systems engineer with some knowledge in automotive and hydraulics or in electronics.
- Minimum five years’ experience in logistics support management in a sizable organisation.
- Broad knowledge of ARMS or similar Artillery Systems and their associated systems/equipment.
- Good knowledge of logistics and engineering support for a complex weapon system.
- Ability to facilitate/present persuasively and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to develop resourceful and effective solutions to problems (including personnel), focus on team performance goals and track metrics to measure performance improvements.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in creating and developing diverse, inclusive and high performing teams through the application of inclusive leadership principles and practice.
- Sound digital literacy with experience in using office automation systems and software applications, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Specific Qualifications
- A recognised project management certification [e.g. PRINCE2® Practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP)].
- Very good knowledge of logistics support concepts, Supply Chain Management and procedures for large distributed systems.
- Ability to analyse large amounts of data and to apply statistical methods and models in order to evaluate logistics scenarios.
LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS
- NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable.

- Basic monthly salary: EUR 9 365,21, tax free.
