- Master’s level qualification in aviation/aerospace engineering, or equivalent education coupled with relevant professional experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of strategic leadership, contract management, and financial planning in complex and technical environments, obtained either through formal education/training or professional experience.
- Experience in high-level stakeholder engagement, including representing organizations at international committees and successfully managing relationships across government, military, and industry sectors.
- Minimum 7 years’ leadership experience in military aviation programmes, with at least 4 years in senior management roles overseeing complex technical and operational teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of fixed wing aircraft operations, encompassing aviation safety management, airworthiness regulations (EMAR, EASA, FAA standards, etc.), certification processes, and quality assurance standards in military and civilian aviation environments.
- Proven expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and philosophies, as well as experience managing weapon systems within a military or defense environment.
- In-depth understanding of aircraft engineering principles, logistics, and life cycle management practices, particularly in a military context or equivalent civilian environment at a senior officer or executive level.
