General Qualifications
- University degree in computer science, information systems management, computer information systems or related field, equivalent education, or relevant professional experience.
- Minimum five years’ experience in SAP solutions, with expertise in SAP architecture and system integration and proven records of successful achievements as architect, ideally gained in mid-sized public or private sector organizations.
- Ability to facilitate/present persuasively and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
- At least one major project completed from feasibility study through to post implementation review, with responsibility for project management at each stage of development.
- Ability to communicate in clear, concise written and verbal form effectively in both technical and non-technical areas with technicians and non-technical managers.
Specific Qualifications
- Strong functional and technical knowledge of SAP (such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud solutions, SAP Basis, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, SAP BW, SAC) solutions.
- Experience with SAP cloud based deployments (as SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, and GCP) and SAP Security.
- Experience and technical knowledge of the tools and architecture of the Integration stack, including APIs Management, Event Streaming, and Enterprise Service Bus.
- Good knowledge of cloud architecture patterns on some of the main CSPs (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
- Experience working with web services, RESTful APIs, XML and other integration protocols.
- Experience with SAP implementation, upgrade, and transformation processes.
- Very good knowledge of operations within the context of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) operations in a national / international environment.
LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS
- NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable.
