- University degree (Bachelor or Master Degree) in engineering or project management.
- Demonstrated experience working in a design, project management, quality, or coordination capacity in the construction industry.
- Experience in the overall project control within infrastructure projects: Cost, Scope, Risk and Schedule.
- Experience in communication between project owner, customer and national authorities.
- Expert understanding of Bulgarian construction codes & regulations.
- Expert understanding of Bulgarian health & safety regulations pertaining to construction.
- Familiarity with data interpretation from Microsoft Project or equivalent software (for example Primavera).
- Proficiency in technical report writing.
- Experience in technical management of NATO projects and/or similar experience would be an asset.
- Knowledge of onsite quality assurance control mechanisms.
- Sound digital literacy with experience in using office automation systems and software applications, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) including technical drawing package.
- Experience implementing infrastructure projects with the Bulgarian Ministry of Defence.
- NATO's two official languages are English and French. The work of this consultancy is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and beginner knowledge of French is desirable.
- A professional working level knowledge of the Bulgarian language is required.
POST DETAILS
- This post is deployable. The incumbent of this post may be required to deploy or may be assigned to a remote location, to perform duties (inside or outside a theatre/deployment location) in support of Council approved operations/missions or in support of national or multinational operations/missions authorised by the Agency Supervisory Board of NSPO.
- Contract duration: 12 months

- Daily fee per worked day: 378 EUR

IMPORTANT NOTES
In accordance with the NATO employment regulations, the contract will be established for
a 6-month period. The working language will mainly be English.
The duty stations will be Afghanistan, Luxembourg or any other area as required.
