General Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field of study, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years’ experience and a demonstrable success in management at Senior Officer level in a sizeable organisation, normally acquired in an international organisation, a national public administration (civil or military) or in the private sector.
- Maturity and diplomacy to work both in a military and civil international environment.
- Wide experience of procurement, financial, and property accounting as well as general administrative procedures.
- Knowledge of regulations governing health and safety at the work place.
- Ability to adapt and work effectively in a changing environment.
- Effective in producing high quality documents under short suspense.
- Good working experience in a multinational environment to include management of staff.
- Ability to multi-task, manage time and work effectively under pressure while producing high-quality products under short-notice deadlines.
- Ability to develop resourceful and effective solutions to problems (including personnel), focus on team performance goals and track metrics to measure performance improvements.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in creating and developing diverse, inclusive and high performing teams through the application of inclusive leadership principles and practice.
- Sound digital literacy with experience in using office automation systems and software applications, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Specific Qualifications
- Good knowledge of Project Management, particularly infrastructure management (PRINCE2® methodology).
- Good knowledge and experience in managing the physical security of an entity within an international organization.
LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS
- NATO’s official languages are English and French. Both languages are important in the work of this post, therefore fluency in both languages is essential.

- Basic monthly salary: EUR 10 623, 04 tax free.
