QT-2: Senior Technical Officer (Systems / Digital Engineering)

- University degree in engineering, preferably in systems engineering or in a related field of study, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Not less than five years' experience of project management processes, approaches and tools particularly for acquisition projects, ideally for military systems in a Defence environment.
- Not less than five years' experience in system engineering, logistics and life cycle management practices and procedures at senior staff or management level.
- Experience of requirements management for acquisition of military systems
- Experience in the use of industry-standard digital engineering tools.
- Proficiency in technical writing.
- Relevant knowledge of system architectures such as Modular Open System Architectures, Object-Oriented Architectures, Service-Oriented Architectures, as well as their relationship to requirements.
- Experience with architecture and requirements management tools.
- Awareness on safety regulatory frameworks for military products (e.g. airworthiness, seaworthiness) and their relationship to design and V&V.
