  • General Qualifications
  •  University degree in aircraft/aeronautical engineering/maintenance field, equivalent education, or relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum ten years’ in an aviation maintenance organisation (military, civil, or combined). ,
  • Outstanding analytical, written and oral communication skills including the ability to write of clear and concise technical reports.
  • Ability to facilitate/present persuasively and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ability to manage time and work effectively under pressure while producing quality products under short notice deadlines.
  • Ability to develop resourceful and effective solutions to problems (including Human Resources), to focus team on performance goals and expectations, to track metrics and measure performance, and to engage problems early to mitigate risk and redirect performance.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a multi-functional organisation.
  • Sound digital literacy with experience in using office automation systems and software applications, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
 
Specific Qualifications
  • Sound Knowledge of and working experience with Aviation Regulations, particularly USAF airworthiness framework and European Aviation and Safety Agency (EASA) or equivalent Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards. Minimum five years’ experience and expertise in the application of airworthiness, air safety standards and safe operating practices in a continuing airworthiness environment.
  • Knowledge of International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) safety management systems and Risk Management (RM) standards.
  • Knowledge of Aviation Human factors principles/practices.
LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS
  •  NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable.

  • Basic monthly salary: HUN 2 521 307  tax free.
