General Qualifications
- University degree in engineering (preferably but not limited to aerospace/aeronautical engineering) or related discipline.
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of requirements definition, systems acquisition and in-service support, preferably acquired in a multinational programme.
- Experience in the fields of engineering, procurement, certification, training, maintenance, configuration control, inventory management, Quality Control (QC), transportation and logistics supply chain management of UAS.
- Experience in planning and execution of logistics support.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Proven experience in projects portfolio management.
- Proven experience in Customers portfolio management.
- Well-developed communication skills.
- Ability to work in integrated teams.
- Ability to analyse engineering problems, generating related design solutions. Ability to promote international cooperation and to participate in and conduct international meetings efficiently.
- Sound digital literacy with experience in using office automation systems and software applications, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Specific Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience with aspects of technical and logistic requirements capture and specification of UAS and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems including certification and continued airworthiness issues.
- Previous experience in managing engineering projects and having exercised responsibility in life cycle management as well as systems in-service support in a matured industrial environment.
LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS
- NATO's two official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirable.
